I am a HUGE beauty geek, and my make up collection went from something like two chapsticks to...well.......something like this:

HAHAHAHAHA just kidding :PPP this isn't even HALF of what I own!!!!! Most of my stuff I actually keep in that closet back there cuz otherwise I won't have enough room on my counter. actually there's even more sh*t under the sink in the cabinets and drawers and junk

My friend likes this guy. A lot of girls find this guy cute-looking. He's a bit of a playboy type. Jumps around frm girl to girl. Doesn't quite settle down and devote himself. For the sake of protecting identities, I'll use his nickname, Bonah (yes, as in like a boner xDDDD) .

Ok so my friends obsessed with this douche, Bonah. They text and flirt and sh*t, AND HE KNOWS SHE LIKES HIM. A WHOLE F*CKING LOT!

They still flirt. My friend (whose a little airheaded I must say) muster up the guts and asks him out. That's how much she likes him that she's the one willing to risk the humiliation of REJECTION.

He tells her that he's part of "some church group" or some sh*t like that whose policy DOES NOT ALLOW THE MEMBERS TO DATE AND BE IN RELATIONSHIPS. or some kinda f*ck along those lines.

so my friend, dejected forces herself to believe that obvious f*cking lie (it WAS a lie btw, he's not even in that church group anymore -___-) and swallows it down, trying to deny the fact that he doesn't really like her back.

WHY DOESN'T HE LIKE HER BACK?

BECAUSE SIMPLE: HE DOESN'T FIND HER PRETTY!!!!!!!!!!! 

Plz. I KNOW that if my friend gets all dressed up, there'd be no way in hell would he DARE turn her down. Believe me. Her personality is good enough for anybody! I've read their flirty texts, AND I KNOW HE PROBABLY SUBCONSCIOUSLY DO LIKE HER TO SOME DEGREE!!!!

BUT HE DOESN'T COMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just like the nerd girl in the video, MY FRIEND HAS THE PERSONALITY DOWN. BUT FOR MOST GUYS OUT THERE, PERSONALITY ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

This is where LOOKS COME IN FOR THE KILL. The appearance seals the deal, draws him in and finishes him off!!!!!!!

Just like Taylor Swift who FINALLY got effing dressed up at the end of the mv , looks can be the final factor that pulls him in !!!

NOW IM SAYING LOOKS ALONE CAN SUSTAIN A RELATIONSHIP. PERSONALITY OF COURSE IS A BIG FACTOR TOO !!!!!

But looks can be a HUGE deciding factor. Face it. We all want to be admired, to be considered "special". Nature and biology and our genetics ARE DESIGNED SO THAT PRETTY PEOPLE HAVE THE ADVANTAGE.

So what about those who aren't naturally pretty?

THIS IS WHERE MAKE UP COMES IN.

It's true! Make up gives us courage and control, confidence to be sexy, fab, and fun!

SO WHY DO PEOPLE VIEW MAKE UP AS A BAD THING? WHY ARE PPL WHO WEAR MAKE UP CONSIDERED "STUPID SLUTS WITH LITTLE EDUCATION"? WHY ARE THEY CONSIDERED VAIN AND STUPID AND SHALLOW?

THEY SAY PEOPLE WHO JUDGES OTHERS FOR THEIR LOOKS ARE BAD. WELL, PEOPLE WHO WEAR MAKE UP ARE JUDGED JUST AS MUCH AS THOSE WHO DON'T!!!!!!!!!

I'LL SAY THIS RIGHT NOW: I AM NOT PRETTY. 

RELATIONSHIP DRAMA: WHAT TO DO WHEN THE GUY YOU LIKE DOESN'T LIKE YOU BACK

So recently, a friend of mine has been having some relationship issues with a guy she likes.

AND BOY OH BOY IS IT MESSSY!!!!!! -_____- it practically INSPIRED this post !

For the sake of keeping their identities anonymous, I shall call my friend "amanda" and the guy "bonah" LOL as in like a boner xDDD

ANYWAYS - so there's been a TON of drama going on and here's basically what went down:

Well, I personally think Bonah IS NOT worth the wait and suffering for -____- I think he's a little douchey. I mean, I get he wants to protect her feelings - BUT DON'T LEAVE HER HANGING BRO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You either draw the line and say just be friends, OR YOU COMMIT, HEAD TO TOE DAMN IT!!!!!!

DO NOT LEAVE THE POOR GIRL DANGLING - WONDERING WHETHER OR NOT SHE SHOULD WAIT FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOT knowing hurts more than the friendzone card! Not ever settling things will always leave the question "WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN" lingering in her mind!!!!! It will nag her and always make her wistful and regretful and contemplating the what-could-have-been possibilites >:(

So now for the ladies - how many of us have ourselves in some kind of similar situation? Where the relationship just becomes PLAIN AWKWARD and you two don't know how to move on from there?!??!?! Or when it just becomes one - sided, when one person wants to commit but the other doesn't? 

FEAR NOT! DOLL IS HERE TO GIVE YOU ADVICE . BECAUSE EVERY GIRL NEEDS A BEST GIRLFRIEND TO WATCH THEIR BACKS. EXCUSE MY SAPPINESS. 

STEP 1) ASK YOURSELF: ARE U SURE YOU STILL WANT HIM?

BE CLEAR AND TRUTHFUL TO YOURSELF, AND ASK YOURSELF THIS :

DO YOU THINK HE IS WORTH THE WAIT? 

WOULD YOU EVER REGRET IT IF YOU LET HIM GO?

DO YOU GET JEALOUS WHEN YOU SEE HIM WITH OTHER GIRLS??????

YOU MUST CLARIFY THESE POINTS FIRST AND MAKE SURE WITH URSELF THAT U STILL ARE COMMITTED TO HIM !!!!!!! ONLY THEN CAN U MOVE ONTO THE NEXT STEP!


STEP 2) COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE !!!!!!!

This is SO SO SO SO important - keep in touch with the guy! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ONE ENOUGH! If you want any hopes for a relationship to ensue, YOU MUST KEEP COMMUNICATING ! It is better to stay friends than to completely ignore each other and let things FALL APART AND BECOME SUPER AWKWARD! 






This is the ONE CRITICAL THING Amanda had failed to do with Bonah. They lost touch over a summer and now Bonah's facebook page is full of douche baggy photos of him with other chicks in teeny weeny bikinies
 -___- cough cough *whores*

*ppsss i saw those pictures NOT bcuz im a crazy obsessed stalker NOR do i like him, but bcuz amanda insisted that i go look at his schedule (which was posted on his fb page) bcuz apprently its the same as mine
 -___-'' she kept harping about how jealous she was of my schedule. i swear, IM NOT A STALKER NOR DO I LIKE BONAH. This is rele awkward to explain.*


Anyhoes, communication with the guy is CRUCIAL. Let him get to know you even more, show him why you'd be a good girlfriend ! Keep the conversation casual for the most part, like chatting about homework, friends, etc. Bring up relations LATER.

STEP 3) FIND OUT WHY HE DOESN'T WANT TO COMMIT! 

Ask around - get your friends to ask him, or ask his friends. Or get your friends to ask his friends. ETC ETC ETC. 

If you have the guts to confront it to him urself, then u must RELE like him............

Amanda, btw, DID in fact confront him about it, which is why he gave her his bs church group excuse -__-

Sometimes, guys don't want to commit because:

Situation A) they have been hurt in past relationships and are afraid of having their heart crushed again

Situation B) they are tired and have much to deal with and don't really want to be in a relationship

Situation C) he's a douchey playboy who just doesn't want to settle down :/


STEP 4) Now you've figured out his motive :

If the guy is:

Situation A)  This particular one not very likely, but if this is the case, be gentle and supportive, and tell him that you are committed enough to never hurt him. Keep up friendly interactions and hang out with him often. He will eventually open up to you if you can prove to be a trustworthy potential girlfriend!

Situation B) If this is the case, back off and give him some space and time to settle down. Be supportive like a friend and wait till he's ready. Listen and give him advice.

Situation C) As this was the case with Amanda, I suggest this simple and straightforward solution: DITCH HIM. A guy who's not even interested in being in a serious relationship will NOT be a faithful boyfriend ! He will give you sh*tload of grief. TRUST ME - that kind of person is not worth the drama nor the heartache and IS SOOOO NOT WORTH UR TIME !!!!!!!!

Us girls know how precious time is. If he's not gonna look at you, he's not worth the effort! You deserve someone who likes you for you. MOVE ON AND LEAVE THAT DOUCHE BEHIND. Someday, he'll look at you go, "DAMN IT WHY DID I LET HER GO!!!!"

How to Get Around / Hack the Chinese Firewall

SOOOOO YEP THIS ARTICLE IS GONNA TEACH YOU HOW TO GET AROUND THE CHINESE FIREWALL !!!!!!!

THIS IS SOMETHING EASY AS PIE, ALL YOU GOTTA HAVE WITH YOU IS YOUR COMPUTER/LAPTOP ! I'M SERIOUS - YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SOME CRAZY HACKER OR W/E. THERE ARE TRICKS, NO CRAZY PROGRAMMING, IT'S EZ AND STRAIGHTFORWARD!!!!

I myself went to Beijing, China this summer (cuz you know OBVIOUSLY all azns are from China -___-) and while i was there, I DISCOVERED THE FREAKING STUPID CHINESE FIREWALL T.T (jk i already knew about it loooonnnnggg b4 i went back to china hahaha :PPP  l̶o̶n̶g̶ ̶l̶o̶l̶)

You guys know what I'm talking about right?

How many of us have gone on vacation before to good ol' China, home to us Asians, ONLY TO FIND THAT LIKE EVERY GOOD FREAKING SOCIAL NETWORKING SITE IS BANNED THERE??!?!??!?!?

 YEP THAT"S RIGHT - Chinese government put up a firewall that bans all the good stuff, like Facebook, Youtube, CERTAIN BLOGS (hahaha I hope I dun get banned for dis ;PPP), Twitter, and others. 

So what if one day you visit china and suddenly you remember you have some important youtube video to watch for your summer assignment or IDK you have a huge camwhoring impulse to show urself off on vacation and all the fancy pancy hotels you've stayed at OR you're a mega pervert who just needs ur porno to be "satisfied" 

................

Well, I'LL TELL YOU WHAT YOU DO!!!!!!!!!!!!! With this trick, you WILL get around the Chinese firewall, easy as 1,2,3! PLUS - YOU WILL NOT GET IN TROUBLE WITH THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT ̶p̶r̶o̶b̶a̶b̶l̶y̶ !!!!!!!

 Hooray !!!!!! :DDDD Y'all can thank me later.....unless u knew about this trick already then BOOS TO U :PPPP

This is the easiest, fastest way to get around the Chinese firewall / ban. You can access your youtube videos, post ur camwhore pictures on facebook, and tweet spam ALLLLL about the sh*t you do on vacation !!!!!!

It's this MAGICAL thing called PROXIES !!!!!

HUH??!!??! WHAT'S  A PROXY DURRRR...... 

Proxies are special server sites that MAKES YOUR IDENTITY ANONYMOUS ! 

The server sites hide your location and where you are accessing other websites from. This is the key because the Chinese firewall would not be able to detect where you are connecting from bcuz you are anonymous and therefore WILL NOT STOP YOU !!!!!!!!!!


I have done this myself MANY MANY MANY times in China, I have gotten in NO TROUBLE WAT-SO-EVER !!!!!!! AND - if a simpleton like myself can do it, THEN YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!

Lemme hold your hand and guide you through it:

STEP 1) There are many sites called "host" sites. Host sites give you a list of proxies and tests the proxies FOR YOU (some proxies don't work on some computers for some reason)

Basically, host sites are the connectors that connect you to proxies. They give you a whole list to choose from. If you aren't sure which one would work for you, you should be able to test out the proxies (most host sites allow that) .

May I recommend freeproxies.org ? They are simply THE BEST AND EASIEST HOST SITE I'VE USED <3333 BEST OF ALL - ALL THEIR PROXIES ALLOW YOU TO ACCESS YOUTUBE VIDEOS :D

The Kpop Craze : Why the Asian Music Industry Is Far Superior

Kpop, as far as I'm concerned, is FAR SUPERIOR to most of the crap the American industry spews out.

And I'm not just saying this cause I'm Asian. I am in no way biased to the kpop market just because of my race. This is my honest and truthful opinion. In fact, I was introduced to the Kpop market FAR FAR FAR later than when I first began to listen to American songs. Before I even got a taste of the Korean market, I've already formed these opinions of the American market on my own.

Now don't get me wrong --- there are still some half-decent American artists who do not depend on walking around naked or doing drugs or having sex to get media coverage and attention. Some - just some - actually use this "magical thing" called ACTUAL TALENT to get attention and draw out fans.

The rest of them occasionally pops out one or two catchy, super auto tuned hit songs and then disappears for like a fifty-bijillion year hiatus where nobody ever hears from them again - unless its about them on the news stripping or streaking or having sex with prostitutes or some other bullsh*t.

That, I think, is the main reason why I can't stand the American music industry. The American music industry most definitely has its fair share of problems.

To be concise, the American market is just..........MESSY.

Artists come and go, dropping a few hits and then vanishing. Very few, mostly globally known super stars, keep their careers consistent, releasing albums and chart-topping singles and staying in the public eye regularly.

The other major problem is that some artists who have no real talent rely on being what I call "controversial" in order to be famous. Like Lady Gaga, who got a ton of coverage for her unconservative ways and bizarre and erotic behaviors and style. Though it's now her signature, she basically just used her "wacky-ness" to be controversial and to launch her career and capture the attention of the world by showing them something new. Lucky for Gaga, she does have a considerable amount of music talent, which is probably the only reason I have any respect for her.

It's okay when one person does it................but not when EVERYONE tries to jump onto the "controversial topic" ship.

Nicki Minaj, for instance, has come to be a great disappointment to me. When I saw her video for "Super Bass", I remember thinking, "Hmmmm she has begun to develop a "controversial" signature style of her own", eg. pink hair and spazzy, jerky eye and body motions.

oh yea and this:

Then I saw her fail performance at the 2012 Grammy Awards.

My, oh my...... I don't know if it was more embarrassing for her or for the audience. All I could say was, it was a stifling and torturous seven minutes.

 As my biology teacher put it the following day after the performance, "I had no idea what was going on.....it looked like she was trying to perform some kind of exorcism. I watched for about 3 minutes and then just turned the T.V. off."

Trying to be "controversial" works.........up to a certain point. After that, even the freaks at home can't defend your work as some kind of "art" or whatever.

And Miss Minaj just bombed this one. Whatever the hell she was trying say or do or I dont even know anymore...........it just doesn't work.





Some artists can pull off the "controversial" image, but others can't. I can't quite put my finger on it and say it in exact words, but it's true.


I just think that some artists should not rely on their "controversial" reputation to be famous :/

ANYWAYS - moving onto the good stuff!

THE KPOP MUSIC INDUSTRY :DDD 

The k-pop market is almost.....the exact opposite of the American market in my mind. Instead of messy and all over the place, the Korean music scene is EXTREMELY  structural and organized. There is a certain image and expectation for every group/artist.

Sums up the key to kpop in one word ^^

Now as much as I prefer the Kpop market, I would be gravely mistaken to say that the Korean music industry is without flaws.

Sad, but true. It even applies to fab ppl like me :P

The Korean market has many many many flaws, just not as blatantly obvious and well-known as the American market's.

However, I shall start off with reasons why I like the Korean market :


1) UHHHHHH DUHHHHHH THE ARTISTS THEMSELVES ARE FREAKING GORGEOUS AND HOT AND AMAZING <333333333333333333333333333333333333333


the korean artists are infamously famous for their amazing, perfect traditional-beauty azn white skin, perfect teeth, skinny-as-bones build, and dolly eyes. AND THIS GOES FOR BOTH GIRL AND GUY GROUPS :OOOO !!!!

Don't believe me? Well here's Sooyoung frm the famous girl group SNSD/Girls Generation. LOOK AT HER FRICKING LEGS THEY ARE SO LONG AND SKINNY WTF ARE THEY EVEN REAL!??!?!?!?!?!? She's like freaking plastic or smthin. I heard they inject sh*t into their legs to make it skinny and Sooyoung even SAID HERSELF that the girls rub some kinda oil or w/e all over their legs to make it look long and skinny. BTW - screenshot was frm their commercial for an LG television -____-

Yes. Korean girls are expected to be ur usual, typical moe azn girl (the ones that uncle fans and otakus would prefer) : big, dolly eyes, all cute and aegyo and bubbly and sh*t and super skinny wtf -___- i just gagged a bit excuse me.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - In Korea, artists are basically produced by companies like SM and YG and JYP (the big three entertainment/music companies and wtf why are their names like the same thing.....just a couple letters and call it a day) . Anyboos, these companies scout out talent across the globe and then these people TRAIN FOR MANY MANY MANY MANY YEARS!!!!!!!


That's right - they are forced to dance and sweat and sing their butts off and train and train and train everyday for years and years until the company decides to form a new group and sign them to a contract.

 On top of that, THEY ALSO HAVE TO LEARN MANY DIFFERENT LANGUAGES, NOT JUST KOREAN. This is because sometimes artists debut or target foreign markets, like Japan, China, and YES, AMERICA. They do have to know English, because the hook/chorus of many songs include english lyrics. (This is because English is considered "cool" in Azn countries. LOL WTF someone should let them know they aren't missing out on much xDDDD)

Then they get to debut. 

Well....maybe ......

BECAUSE if you EVER get sick of the trainee system - WELL BOOS TO YOU WHORE CUZ EACH COMPANY HAS GOT A SH*T LOAD OF TRAINEES LINED UP, so the competition is INTENSE!!!  

"YOU WHORE-SNORE BETTER NOT STEAL MY SPOTLIGHT!!!! I DESERVE THAT SPOT IN THE NEW GROUP THE COMPANY PLANS TO DEBUT NEXT WHENEVER!!!!!"

WORSE OF ALL, YOU CAN BE REPLACED IN A BLINK OF AN EYE.

That is a big enough threat to most people that they will continue to bust their arses for the company. It is the fear of being dropped out and replaced that drives these people to comply with the harsh and rigorousness of the Korean system.

The worst case scenario, however, is training and training and training and and and and and and .......







Yep. That's right. Some trainees stay and train FOR YEARS OF THEIR LIVES - BUT THEY NEVER GET TO DEBUT!!!!!!!

The horror.....of never debuting and getting a contract. It hurts bro hoe, it hurts.......

This, I think, is what I find most pathetic and sad about the Korean system . It is the sheer fact that some people work SO SO SO SO SO HARD during their trainee period, but for whatever reason, they never get to debut in a group or go solo or w/e. 

There is a lot of reasons for this, including family interference or if the company thinks you just aren't ready or talented enuff to debut and sh*t. Or if they think you got fat and fugly in recent years or your "character" is too rebellious that they won't be able to control you or w/e. 

OH AND ONE MORE SHIZ - ONCE YOU DEBUT, LORD FORBID YOU EVER DO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

1) Pig out and eat w/e shiz you want. Remeber: IMAGE IS EVERYTHING!!!!

2) Get fat. This goes hand in hand with the first one -____-''

3) Get into some kind of sh*tty controversy. Koreans are very anti-controversy. It means bad news for any music group. 

Some examples of scenarios Korean singers want to avoid: 

The T-ara Hwayoung controversy shiz. Hwayoung has been kicked out of her group, T-ara for apparently, acting like a diva and fighting and being rebellious. I don't really give two sh*ts about this particular one bcuz I am no fan of T-ara. 

  

Running over motorcyclists while you are drunk driving. This is Daesung, a member of the popular boy group Big Bang, who got into shiz for killing some poor dude. 

Speaking of Big Bang controversies.....

Leader of Big Bang, G-dragon, got into deeeeeeeppppp sh*t for allegedly smoking some weed. 

Next up, we have Nickhun of le 2PM for his recent car accident. Yes yes yes like the others, he too got into deep sh*t. We know. I don't care. 

These are just recent ones I'm pulling out of my mind. But kpop is not without its history of controversies. 

To be honest, KOREANS ARE WAAAAYYYY TOO SERIOUS ABOUT THIS STUFF!!!!! 

Whenever a singer screws up to the slightest, they get are instantly insulted and targeted and criticized harshly. Their company cuts off their promotions with their respective groups, they hafta issue a ton of apologies and press releases to their fans and be all formal and sh*t about it. 

They are cut out of CFs, ads, videos, TV dramas, variety shows, or other activities they may have been promoting in. 

LIKE WTF KOREAN MUSIC INDUSTRY - SERIOSLY, LOOSEN UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I MEAN COME ON!!!!!! - AMERICAN ARTISTS DO WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY MORE OUT OF SHIZ STUFF, LIKE HAVING SEX WITH PROSTITUTES OR PACKING DOWN DRUGS LIKE ITS AIR OR CHEATING ON THEIR SPOUSE OR GOD FORBID ---- EVEN DATING IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

(like i said, korean artists are mostly banned frm dating - it wud "break" the hearts of their fans, who believe the artists belong to them -____- the korean music companies take the fans into too much consideration)

AND THEY GET IT AWAY WITH IT!!!!!!

DO THEIR AGENCIES FORCE THEM TO STOP ACTIVITIES AND CONCERTS????

NO!!!! 

DO THEY GET CHOPPED OUT OF COMMERCIALS AND ADS?

MOST OF THE TIME, NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!


UNLESS IT WAS SMTHIN CRAZY SERIOUSLY SCANDALOUS, AMERICAN ARTISTS BASICALLY DO SH*T AND DON'T GET HATE FROM THEIR FANS FOR IT!!!!!!

IN FACT, FROM WAT I CAN TELL, THEY GET EVEN MORE CONTROVERSIAL AND MORE MEDIA COVERAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
